I started with responsibility.

I grew up in Rexdale and started working at sixteen to help support my family. Barbering began with friends, borrowed time and the need to get the flat top right.

The line grew because the work was precise and the chair felt different. Every client who came back helped me turn an informal skill into a standard I could repeat, explain and improve.

That early reputation became a career rather than a mythology. The Academy carries the useful lesson forward: a name is built through work people can trust, one service at a time.
