Inside Electives
Bounded extras. Chosen on purpose.
An extra service should answer a real craft question, not fill a gap on a certificate. When Electives opens, the choice will start with what you want to add and why: a temporary finish, careful detail grooming, platform work, or tension-safe pattern work. The core path does not depend on choosing any of them.

- 01
Temporary enhancements
A request for more definition is not a request for a permanent change. Temporary enhancements will start with explaining the effect and its limits, then choosing the finish that fits.
- 02
Detail grooming
Adding a small service still brings its own responsibility. Non-invasive brow, nose, and ear grooming will keep protection and boundaries ahead of the extra item on a menu.
- 03
Competition and platform work
A platform asks a different question from an ordinary appointment: can you make the idea clear while keeping control of the work? Competition cutting will focus on preparation, presentation, and pace — not a promised placing.
- 04
Cornrows and twists
Cornrows and two-strand twists will bring the choice back to the person wearing the work: pattern matters, but so does safe tension. Tell Junior which skill has a purpose in your practice. If you still need safe tool foundations, begin with Foundation instead.
What you are buying into
Add-on craft, not the core path.
Electives stay optional. They open when filmed and cleared — inquire for timing rather than waiting on a fake enroll button.
Included
- Optional Electives study when the release is public
- Bounded creative and detail services that sit beside core craft
- A study record for the Electives path when awarded
- Safety and tool foundations called out before applied work
Not included
- A requirement to finish Electives for Masterclass
- Live tuition checkout on this page today
- In-person Electives days before that lane exists
- Promises about competition placements or client books
How you finish
Clean extras. Cleaner judgement.
When Electives opens, the standard will be an extra service that is safe, bounded, and chosen for a reason — not a longer menu for its own sake.
- How you are assessed
- Practical checks against the Electives release rules — not a participation ribbon.
- What you are awarded
- Electives Study Record. Electives Study Record for the whole add-on when issued.
- What it is not
- Junior's study record. Not a licence and not a guarantee of stage wins.
Questions
Ask before you stack extras.
Keep the core path honest.
OrderShould I take Electives before Foundation?Build safety and tool foundations first
Electives assume you can already hold tools safely. Start with Foundation if you are new. If you are working already, inquire and say which Elective you actually want.

Single specialist online modules have been listed from $129 CAD when that offer is live. Full Electives path pricing is confirmed in writing before payment.
InquireKitWhat tools do I have to bring?Suitable tools are required; buying an Academy kit is separate
Suitable clippers, trimmers, shears, and blades are required for practical training. A kit is not included in tuition.
If you already own professional tools, ask the Academy to review your setup before practical training. Existing tools are not automatically approved, and having the required equipment does not mean you must buy this particular kit.
If you need equipment, ask the Academy what is suitable and what a separate kit purchase covers before you spend.
Ask what to bringLicensingDoes this let me work as a barber? It is Junior's completion award, not a government licence
You leave with a certificate of completion. I watched the work. That is not a licence. Not a ticket. Not a board.
Ask about the training that fits your goals. Module maps stay behind the consult.
